Nvidia Treiber läßt sich nicht instalieren

Rechner:

Aldi Laptop(MD 40100, von Oktober 2003)

BS: WinXP Home +Sp1 +alle sercurity Patches etc.

Grafik: Nvidia FX5300 (aktueller Treiber: 448)

Ich habe folgendes Problem:

Wenn ich einen aktuellen Nvidia Treiber (z.B. 53.03 für XP) installieren will, werde ich immer durch das Setup geleitet und beende es auch erfolgreich(mit neustart), allerdings wird der Treiber selbst nicht installiert.

Unter Systemsteuerung-> System finde ich immer den alten.

Was mache ich falsch???

hast du vorher den alten komplett deinstalliert?

unter sofware bzw am besten dann noch nen regcleaner drüber laufen lassen

bei Nvidia spinnen die oft rum, wenn man den neuen nur überinstallieren will
