Hi Leute,

ich hab ein einfachen kleinen unaufwendigen Formmailer gegebastelt.

Die Funktion mail() gibt ja true oder false zurück, je nachdem ob die Mail versendet wurde oder nicht.

Wie kann ich nun recht einfach den Status abfragen und dann eine

Nachricht z.B. "Nachricht wurde erfolgreich versand" oder so ausgeben?

    echo $Erfolgsmeldung;

}

else echo $Erfolgsmeldung;

[/PHP]

oder vielleicht lieber so:

[PHP]
function error_handling() { //....}

// ...

@mail(...) or error_handling();
echo $Erfolgsmeldung;
