Hallo, kann mir jemand sagen was genau ein

DVD RAM multi drive sein soll?

Soweit ich weiß sind das DVD-Brenner die sowohl DVD-RAM und DVD-R(W) oder DVD+R(W) brennen können.

Naja, DVD-Ram ist eher die Konkurrenz der DVD-RW/DVD+RW....

Die CDs gibt es als "in-case" Version, also mit Plastik-Case zum Schutz, oder auch welche ohne Case.

Außerdem ist die Kapazität deutlich höher, nämlich ca. 9,6 GB pro Seite.

Die Dinger lohnen auf jeden Fall als Massenspeicher bzw. Sicherungskopien, da sie sehr langlebig sein sollen.

Langlebiger als die anderen? Und wodurch bitte?

Ist das wieder so eine Geschichte wie bei DDR-Ram und Rambus?
