Ich habe das Problem, dass die Stylesheets im Web anders aussehen, als auf meinem lokalen Webserver (ohne das Änderungen im Quelltext vorgenommen wurden!!!).

Getestet mit Opera, Mozilla, Konquerer, Epiphany(Galeon) und Internet Explorer. Der Effekt tritt bei allen Browsern auf!

Die konkrete Eigenschaft (des div-Containers) ist :

height: 80%;

Die Datei ist gültiges CSS 2 und CSS 3.
