Hi,

ich habe mir von Sun Solaris 9 für x86 runtergeladen, fleissig die Images gebrannt und losgelegt.

Nach Konfiguration des X-Servers für die Installation wurde das CDE gestartet. Dazu ein X-Terminal in dem Installation fortgesetzt wird.

Der nächste Schritt war die Festplattenpartitionierung. Da kam für mich der Schock. Es wurde nur eine Windows-Partion und eine erweiterte Partition angezeigt. Hier war dann erst mal Schluss mit meinem Forscherdrang. Ich wollte nur ungern meine kompletten Daten verlieren.

Welche Dateisystem erkennt denn Solaris 9? Ich habe bisher Linux zu laufen mit ext3 und noch die eine oder andere alte FAT32-Partition aus Windows-Zeiten.
