Hallo,

ich habe eine Frage und zwar würde für die Installation von Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 oder Tobit: David XL eine Grundinstallation von Windows 2000 genügen oder muss es unbedingt eine Serverversion sein?

Bräuchte das für meine Doku.

PS: Schon einmal entschuldigung falls ich diese Frage in der falschen Kategorie gestellt haben sollte....

Exchange setzt Windows 2000 Server voraus, da der Mailserver ins Active Directory eingebunden wird.

Da der Exchange voll ADS-integriert ist, muss er auf ein Serversystem installiert werden.

Laut Tobit-Webseite kann David V8 (XL gibt es nicht mehr) auch auf einem Win2000 Professional installiert werden, da sollte man aber die Begrenzung auf 10 gleichzeitige Clientzugriffe durch das Betriebssystem bedenken.

Für David XL reicht eine Windows 2000 Prof. Installation mit NTFS aus.
