Hallo zusammen,

ich habe ein Asus P4P800SE Mainboard.

Kann ich an dem RJ45 Anschluss ein externes DSL-Modem anschliessen, oder brauche ich eine spezielle Netzwerkkarte. Wenn ich eine brauche, welcher Art (Link)?

Das DSL-Modem hat auch einen USB-Anschluss. Muss ich auch den verbinden?

Jeder LAN-Anschluss auf Ethernet-Basis ist DSL-ready (ist nicht mehr als ein Marketing-Gag), somit auch dein Onboard-LAN-Anschluss.

Normalerweise brauchts für DSL nur eine Verbindung zum Modem, aber verrat mal das Modell, dann kann man genaueres sagen.

Die Fritzbox SL ist nicht nur Modem, sondern auch Router.

Das einfachste ist, an den Lan-Anschluss einen Switch anschliessen und die Routing-Funktionalität der Fritzbox nutzen.

Inwieweit die Routing-Funktionalität auch über den USB-Anschluss zur Verfügung steht, sollte das Handbuch verraten.
