gibt es eigendlich eine Möglichkeit PageMaker Dokumente unter Linux zu bearbeiten.

VMWare, Wine oder win4lin währe eine Möglichkeit. Möchte ich aber nicht.

Vielleicht hat einer ja eine andere Möglichkeit in petto.

schau dir mal Scribus an, damit sollte es möglich sein.

ich hab mal deinen Rat befolgt und Scribus per rpm installiert.

Nächstes Problem.

Segmentation fault

Beim googeln hab ich da nichts passendes gefunden.

warum, wieso, weshalb.

Vielleicht noch andere Ideen.

Als kommerzielle Alternative zu Scribus gäbe es unter Linux noch das Programm Pagestream von Grasshopperlc.

Nicht grad billig.

Ich versuch mal weiter Scribus anzuwerfen.

Kann jemand etwas mit dieser Fehlermeldung anfangen?

nein, damit kann man nicht wirklich was anfangen. Verabschiedet sich scribus gleich beim Starten oder erst, wenn Du versuchst eine Datei zu öffnen?

PS:

tipp mal im gdb "bt" ein, dann solltest Du einen Trace über die Funktionen bekommen, die aufgerufen wurden bevor das Programm gecrashed ist.

KDE ist auf 3.3 upgedatet.

Scribus ist mit rpm eingespielt

scribus-1.2.1-1.0suse91.i686.rpm

Da gibt es noch eine -devel Version

scribus-devel-1.2.1-1.0suse91.i686.rpm (wofür ?)
