Einen wunderschönen.

Ich habe einen Laptop (Medion MD 9399) mit einer SoundMAX Soundkarte. Nun habe ich unter Windows 2000 das Problem, dass im Geräte-Manager trotz mehrfacher Installation der original Treiber für W2k die Meldung kommt "Das Gerät kann nicht getstartet werden" und ich weiß echt nicht mehr weiter.

Hat jemand nen Tip?

Wüde Windows die Karte dann erst finden?

Im BIOS jedenfalls ist sie aktivert...

hi,

wurde die karte evtl. vorher fehlerhaft installiert ?

gib mal in der kommandozeile ein :

set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1

devmgmt.msc

dann unter Ansicht -> Ausgeblendete Geräte anzeigen.

sollte die Karte dort mehrfach auftauchen alle Einträge entfernen

Da ist zwaar keine Ahnung wie of Streaming-Zeug drin aber die Karte an sich ist nur einmal vorhanden...
