MSSQL - foreach oder ähnliches bei stored procedures

hallo leute,

db: MSSQL Server 2000

ich suche nach etwas ähnlichem wie ein foreach für stored procedures damit ich von einer select-anweisung sämtliche werte bearbeiten kann.

habe in einer interbase-procedure schon mal ein "for select .... into ... do" gesehen, nur krieg ich das nicht im sql-server hin.

ich bräuchte also ein:

declare @i as integer

<wiederhole für jeden datensatz aus> select @i = id from tabelle1

insert into tabelle2 (wert) VALUES (@i)

<ende schleife>

vielen dank genau das habe ich gesucht

für alle die es interessiert ist hier noch eine kleine (deutsche) einführung zu cursorn (auch wenn nicht direkt zu mssql).
