ich hab mal ne Frage,

Also ich habe einen Heimarbeitsplatz mit DSL-Anschluss und will 200 MB auf unser Abteilungslaufwerk schieben von meiner lokalen Festplatte. Wenn man mit einem Upstream von 256kb rechnet, wielange dauert es dann bis es auf dem Laufwerk ist?

tut mir leid, ich bin eben zu doof zum rechnen...

Ganz theoretisch und vereinfacht:

256 kbit/s sind 32 kB/s

200 MB = 200.000 KB

200.000 KB / (32 KB/s) = 6250 s

6250 Sekunden sind ca. 1 3/4 Stunde.

Das wären dann aber MibiBytes (nennen die sich so?)

200 MB = 200 * 1024 KB = 204800 KB ;)
