Schnappe dir nen Buch und arbeite es durch.

Ich habe u.a. XML in a Nutshell (O'Reilly) gelesen. Fand ich sehr gut. Ausserdem kannst du dann auch gleich die Fragen klären, die ggf. noch auftauchen (z.B. Namespaces, XSL-FO, Parser/XSLT-Prozessoren oder Programmier-APIs).
