Meine Linux Firewall hat folgendes Paket aufgezeichnet:

Hat jemand eine Ahnung was das für ein Paket ist?

Ach ja, die Info kann ich liefern: Laut IANA ist Protokol 4 = "IP (IP in IP (encapsulation))". Nur: Woher kommt's und was bedeutet es? :confused:

IPinIP Enacapsulation ist ein Tunneling-Protokoll (vergleichbar mit GRE) und in RFC2003 standardisiert. Anwendungszwecke gibt es viele, beispielsweise im VPN-Umfeld, Multicast-Tunnel, usw. usf.

Ok. Nur wo kommt's her?

Bei SuSE 10.0 mit OpenS/WAN gab's das noch nicht, ab SuSE 10.1 mit OpenS/WAN tauchen die jetzt auf. Entweder der Linux-Kernel oder die neuere OpenS/WAN-Version generieren jetzt solche Pakete. Mal später die Release-Notes von OpenS/WAN druchforsten ob sich da was im Zusammenhang mit Kernel 2.6.x geändert hat.
