Hallo,

hier habe ich zwei PCI IDE Kontroller.

1x Promise Ultra100 TX2

1x Sil680 Raid Ultra 133

den habe ich bei eBay gekauft

Der Promise läuft in meinem 2ten PC, wo er im Moment nur zum Anschluß von Festplatte 3-6 dient.

Gebootet wird hier vom Mainboardkontroller IDE 1

Der Silicon Image soll auf einem ASUS P4B Mainboard, welches am Mainboardkontroller IDE 1 nur eine HDD erkennt bzw. Fehler produziert eingesetzt werden.

Ziel: 2x HDD, 1x CD-RW, 1x DVD

Jetzt folgende Fragen:

Wenn ich die richtigen Infos habe, sollten beide Kontroller bootfähig sein?

Richtig?

Wenn ja, was muß ich im MainboardBios/Kontrollerbios konfigurieren, damit das klappt?

Würde es sich lohnen den Silicon Image Kontroller in meinen 2ten PC einzubauen?

Qualität > Geschwindigkeit ATA 100 zu 133 ?

Wobei ich das P4B als PC zusammenbauen und vertickern möchte.
