gibt es ein mathematisches verfahren um brüche zu kürzen?

klar könnte ich in einer anzahl an schleifen immer von 1 hochzählen und wenn teilber teilen, und die schleife neu starten, aber irgendwie erscheint mir das bei richtig großen zahlen in den brüchen recht umständlich und warscheinlich auch zeitaufwähdig.

kann ich nicht irgendwie den größten gemeinsamen teiler errechnen?
