8 bit = 1 byte

1.000.000.000 bit = ?

Dreisatz

100 MBit/s entspricht einem Bruttodatendurchsatz von 12,5 MB/sec

Wie komm ich darauf? 1 Byte entsprechen bekanntlich 8 Bit. Und genauso kann man das auch für GBit/s berechnen.

1GBit = 1000 MBit/s

1000 MBit/s / 8 Bit pro Byte = 125 MB / sec Brutto. Das Erreichen dieses Durchsatzes hängt aber von sehr vielen Faktoren ab.
