Um den IIS zu installieren muss man ja normalerweise über die Systemsteurung gehen und den dann unter Software-Systemkomponenten auswählen.

Gibt es auch ein eigenständiges Installationspaket dafür bzw. kann man den z.B. per InstallShield bei der Installation seiner Anwendung automatisch mit installieren lassen?

das ist meines wissens weder möglich, noch praktikabel. zumindest habe ich es seit IIS 3.0 nicht gesehen und würde mich sehr wundern.

begründbar wäre das vielleicht auch damit, dass wichtige dinge die bei der installation angelegt werden wie z.b. registry, metabase, IUSR_..., IWAM_..., ohne die normale installation fehlen könnten.

Vielleicht hilft dir das ja weiter:

Man kann den IIS auch mit Hilfe einer unattend.txt installieren. Dazu erstellt man diese z.B. mit folgendem Inhalt...

[Components]

iis_common = on

iis_inetmgr = on

iis_www = on

[internetServer]

PathWWWRoot=D:\Inetpub\WwwRoot

...und startet dann die Installation mit dem Befehl...

sysocmgr /i:%windir%\inf\sysoc.inf /u:c:\unattend.txt

Bitte auch daran denken, dass beim Nachinstallieren des IIS die Windows-Installationsquellen idR angefordert werden.

Die Installationsquellen muessen dem genutzten Windowssystem entsprechen.
