Hallo,

sagtmal wie ist denn eure Meinung zu Gratissoftware.?

Nutzt ihr auch so wie ich Ubuntu?

Oder seit ihr eher Windowsanhängsel?

Was nutzt ihr sonst noch für freeware?

Als Konstellation betreibe ich einen Gentoo Server mit VMware Server (frei zugänglich) mit virtuellen Maschinen( Ubuntu, Gentoo, Win XP und Vista). Weiterhin 2x OSX. Als freie Programme benutze ich VLC, VMware, LaTeX, sämtliche Serverdienste (Postfix, Dovecot, AFP, Samba, Firefly...)

Zusätzlich habe ich eine Menge Tools, die Donationware sind. "Nicht-Freie-Software" ist bei mit Matlab, Adobe CS Suite und MS Office. Matlab und die CS Suite aus beruflichen Gründen und MS Office, da viele eben MS Office einsetzen und ich somit Kompatibilität haben muss. Textverarbeitung läuft aber bei mir via LaTeX

Open Source ist nicht gratis. Wenn, dann bitte nicht die Begriffe vertauschen.

Und wie wäre es, wenn du mal deine Meinung mitteilst, statt hier nur das Forum mit Fragen zu übersäen?

Versteh den Sinn hinter der und der von Chief verlinkten Frage nicht so richtig. Kann ich auf fragen, ob ihr so wie ich blau mögt? :D

Wo es für mich Sinn hat nutze ich x - ansonsten durchaus auch y :beagolisc
