Hallo,

wie in dem Titel zu lesen ist möchte ich von euch gerne wissen worauf ich mein Forum installieren soll. Was ist besser MySQL oder PgSQL? Was ist der Vorteil des besseren?

was für ein Forum möchtest du denn installieren?

ich tippe einfach mal auf ein vorgefertigtes, wie phpBB

in einem solchen Fall musst du gucken, welche Datenbanken unterstützt werden

ich würde so aus dem Bauch heraus sagen, dass so ziemlich jedes Forum MySQL unterstützen sollte

Hi,

auch wenn Postgres mehr bietet, was du vermutlich nicht brauchst, ist MySQL verbreiteter und du findest mehr Hilfe dafür. Für ein Forum reicht MySQL absolut aus, ansonsten ist "besser" so nicht zu beantworten.
