VMWare Workstation7 auf Win7 Prof

Ich hab meinen RAM von 8 auf 16GB aufgestockt. Vorher war 6GB max-gesamt für alle VMs eingestellt.

Wenn Ich auf 14GB erhöhen will erhalte Ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Failed to obtain write lock on file C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware Workstation\config.ini: Permission denied.

Kann jemand weiter helfen?

Kannst du Englisch?

Falls ja, dann sollte dir die Fehlermeldung doch sagen, dass die Datei schreibgeschützt ist und der Zugriff verweigert wurde.

Entweder du hast nicht die benötigte Berechtigung, um dies mit dem User zu verändern, oder aber du musst einen Prozess oder Dienst stoppen, bevor du es verstellen kannst.

...soweit hab i es schon verstanden.

Die Frage war ja nach nem konkreter Lösungsansatz, hab dazu bisher nix im Netz gefunden...

Läuft nun. Habs mit Option X gemacht: VMW7 deinstalliert, VMW8 neu installiert :D
