Hallo,

ich habe folgende Sachen gegeben: 100MBit/s, es kann 3 Repeater geben, Signalverzögerungszeit = 250m/us, Rahmenlänge 64-1500Byte und Pro Repeater 2Bitzeiten Verzögerung.

Nun ist die Frage: Wie groß darf ein Segment maximal sein?

Kann mir hier jemand zeigen, wie das geht?

    Hallo,

    bei Wikipedia gibt es eine Formel zur Berechnung, hast du das mal versucht? Was ist denn dein bisheriger Ansatz? Aus der Angabe zur Signalversögerunszeit werd ich nicht ganz schlau, sollen dass pro 250 Meter 1 Mikrosekunde Verzögerung sein?

    P.S.: bei 100 MBit/s darf es eigentlich nur 2 Repeater geben
