Diese Meldung:"xms - Treiber nicht vorhanden" bekomme ich bei der Installation von Win98 auf einer neuen Festplatte, nach dem Neustart.

Wer kann mir helfen?

Die Fehlermeldung hatte ich auch schonmal. Lag bei mir daran, dass ich auf ne erweiterte Partition installieren wollte und Win9x das wohl nciht mag - zumindest nciht, wenn keine primäre Partition vorhanden ist. ;)

Weiss zwar nicht, wieso MS das nicht einfach als Fehlermeldung schreibt, aber wer weiss...

Wenns das nicht ist, scheints irgendwas mit dem Speicher zu sein... :rolleyes: Was genau kann ich dir dann leider aber auch nciht sagen...
