auf meiner XP-Installation tummelt sich eine ca. 1gb grosse Datei namens "hiberfil.sys" da ich 1gig Arbeitsspeicher habe - meine Frage: Ist diese Datei irgendwie eine Auslagerungsdatei aka pagefile.sys? (virtuellen Speicher habe ich auf 512 mb)

Danke im Voraus... :)

Das ist die Datei, die das System für den Ruhestand braucht.

Sozusagen ein kompl. Dublikat Deines Arbeitspeichers.

Wenn Du die weghaben willst und den Ruhezustand nicht brauchst, kannst Du ihn unter den Energieoptionen abstellen.
