Hallo,

ich weiß das dieses Thema ständig wieder auftritt. Ich habe aber schon alle mit dem Problem zusammenhängende threads durchgelesen und will jetzt mal fragen, ob ihr noch was wisst?

Also: Board ASUS P2B

BIOS Rev. 1012

- Im BIOS ist Power management enabled

- "Start > Einstellungen > Systemsteuererung > Energieoptionen > APM" aktiviert

- HKLM\software\microsoft\windowsnt\currentversion\winlogon String:PowerdownAfterShutdown Value:1

Trotzdem macht der Rechner (Windows XP) nach dem Herunterfahren immer nur einen Reset. Bevor ich den Registrierungsstring auf 1 gesetzt hatte kam immer das Fenster "Sie können den Rechner ausschalten". Jetzt kann ich den String auf 1 oder 0 setzen, er macht immer einen Neustart.

Das interessante: der zweite, 100%ig gleicher, Rechner mit Windows 2000 geht wunderbar aus.

Ich weiß jetzt leider nicht mehr weiter. Lohnt sich eine Neuinstallation? Oder habt ihr noch ne Idee?
