ich habe eine Partition an der ich nur noch 1GB Platz habe und

eine Freie Partition 40GB.

Jetzt will ich den Speicher von /(root)

vergrößern.

Gibt es ein Tool unter RedHat um die Partition zu vergrößern?

da fällt mir auch grade etwas ein:

es wäre doch möglich, eine neue platte ins system zu mounten und /root komplett rüberzuzuiehen...

aber ziehe ich da nicht auch /home/ mit, auch wenn /home/ NICHT auf der gleichen platte wir / ist? (da ja /home/ unterhalb von / liegt?)

Stichwort tar:

tar -l => stay in local filesystem

oder natuerlich /home unmounten und dann per cp -a
