Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Notebook ist mir die Bezeichnung 200 nits bzw. 400nits bei der Displaybeschreibung untergekommen. Hat einer ne Ahnung was das bedeutet???

Hier mal eine Erkärungen:

Nit (Einheitenzeichen nt) ist eine Einheit der Leuchtdichte, die vor allem in den USA gebräuchlich ist. Das Wort leitet sich vom lateinischen "nitere" = "scheinen" ab. Ein Nit ist äquivalent zu einem Candela pro Quadratmeter. Es wird oft für die Einstufung der Helligkeit von Computer-Bildschirmen verwendet, welche typisch 200 bis 300 Nits aufweisen.
