8AGP Grafikkarte auf 4AGP Mainboard = defekt?

Hallo,

ich wollte nur mal fragen ob es prinzipiell möglich ist das eine 8fach AGP Grafikkarte ein 4fach AGP Mainboard beschädigen kann (oder umgekehrt)?

Die Karten sind sowieso alle kombinierte AGP4x/8x-Karten, d.h. auch Karten mit AGP8x können problemlos in AGP4x-Slots gesteckt werden, umgekehrt ist es aber genauso, nämlich dass AGP8x-Slots eigentlich AGP4x/8x-Slots sind, wo man halt AGP4x- oder AGP8x-Karten einsetzen kann.

Man sollte allerdings darauf achten, das man eine Grka mit 1,5V nicht in einen älteren AGP Slot mit 3V steckt...

Es gibt normalerweise Stege im AGP Slot die soetwas verhindern sollen, aber man hat auch schon Pferde ko*** sehen...;)
