Hi @all,

hat schon mal jemand von euch Coldfusion-6.1 auf SLES 8 Installiert (Hardware Ibm z/Series). Und zwar habe ich mir die Trial Version von Coldfusion-6.1 runter geladen, wir würden das gerne Testen bevor wir das kaufen. Jetzt bekomme ich es einfach nicht installiert .

Ich hab schon bei Macromedia angerufen und die "konnten" mir nicht weiter helfen... bzw. da die eine sogar eine gemeint, "Es wird auf Linux nicht unterstüzt". Nach dem ich immer wieder bei der gleichen frau raus gekommen bin, habe ich es aufgegeben ... :mad:

Wenn ich die Installation starte passiert Folgendes.

Hi, danke schon mal für dein Post, naja ... ich kann das überhaupt nicht testen bzw. überprüfen, weil das ja eine bin datei ist, wie man oben sehen kann, ich starte die installation und dann bricht er ab ... er erstellt einen Install-Ordner beim installieren, der ist aber leer ?!

mir kommt es vor, als ob die Var. JAVA_EXECUTABLE nicht ganz korrekt ist.

Prüfe diese doch bitte mal!

Dein Wert ist: /usr/lib/java/bin/java

Man sieht jedoch, das er was mit "JRE" macht.

Kann es sein, das der Wert dann wie folgt lauten sollte:

"/usr/lib/java/jre/bin/java"

Bin mir jedoch nicht ganz sicher. Wie gesagt, einfach mal prüfen ...

ich bitte erstens um die Ausgabe eines:

und zweitens, um den Code von "coldfusion-61-lin.bin" - sofern er nicht zu lang ist und die Datei nicht nur binär-Schrott enthält.

Also ich hab mal in der coldfusion-61-lin.bin reingeschaut, da ist ja tatsächlich noch text (shell-skript) drin, aber auch binärschrot drin.

Ist aber 2224 Zeilen lang. Ich glaube das wär ein bisschen viel, und leider kann ich kein Textfile anhängen

Vielleicht kann ich es dir ja per mail schicken bzw. nach was willst den da genau suchen, dann schaue ich selber mal rein.

Hallo noch mal, also ich hab vorhin ein Fehler beim Pfad gemacht.

Also er geht aufjedefall weiter aber die Installation bricht mir nun mit folgender Fehlermeldung ab:

Ich hab mal im tmp - Verzeichnis geschaut und da war ein Installert-Verzeichnis da war diese installer.zip drin. Ich hab dann einfach mit unzip die Datei enpackt und das hat auch gefunzt, ich verstehe nicht warum er abricht ?!

Hi, nee ich hab nicht versucht, eine neue Installationsdatei runter zu laden.

Ich hab mir die FAQs auf der Macromedia seite schon angeschaut, aber leider nichts gefunden, was mir weiter helfen, kann, ich weiß jetzt auch nicht warum, aber jetzt bringt er wieder die gleiche Fehler meldung

Ich hab jetzt auch mal nach dem Returncode geschaut. Er bricht mit

126 ab, aber im skript gibt es keine exit 126 ?!

also ich habe mir mal ColdFusion heruntergeladen und es als nicht-root-user auf meiner Linux Gurke (allerdings nicht SLES-8, sondern SuSE 9.0) installiert.

Bei mir ging alles einwandfrei. Ich habe dem Skript zuerst mal das Ausführ-Attribut (also x) mit:

user@host:~> chmod 755 coldfusion-61-lin.bin

gegeben. Anschließend habe ich das Skript gestartet (du hattest recht, es befindet sich binäres Zeugs in dem Skript - das bei mir allerdings keine negativen Auswirkungen hatte), hier das Log der Installation:

Ich würde vorschlagen du saugst das Teil am Besten nochmal, wie auch beschrieben und installierst erneut.

Ich habe es von macromedia via Firefox 1.0 heruntergeladen nur so zur Info.

Also ich Tippe fast, dass es ein Problem beim Download gab - anders kann ich es mir einfach nicht erklären.

Viel Glück dabei, wenn du es nochmal probiert hast und es immer noch nicht funktioniert, meld dich einfach nochmal.

Du kannst natürlich noch etwas probieren und zwar das "Shellskript" editieren und zwar wie folgt:
