Hallo

Hat jemand von euch schon Erfahrungen mit Oracle auf einem Suse Linux 9.3 bzw. Red Hat 3.1 System?

Da ja offiziell nur die Enterprise Versionen unterstützt werden, sind wir uns momentan nicht sicher auf welchem Systenm wir das laufen lassen sollen.

Laufen sollte es auch auf den Nicht-Enterprise Versionen, das ist aber auch nicht das zentrale Problem.

Support von Oracle gibt es nur, wenn diese auf einer "offiziellen" Platform läuft. Wenn es sich also um eine wichtige Datenbank handelt (davon gehe ich mal aus) solltet Ihr in den sauren/teuren Apfel beißen und eine zertifizierte Plattform benutzen.
