Super Antwort. Ja es ist nur ein .net c# Programm das eine Art Gateway emuliert. Ich habe ja bei putty das x11 forwarding aktiv, sehe aber dennoch nur die console. Guacamole klingt ja sehr gut. Ja iptables regeln den zugriff eh, dass nur meine 2 festen IPs von zu Hause per SSH usw zugreifen können

Weshalb bedenken? Den Apache und Webserver hab ich nicht sofort hinbekommen. Mehrere anläufe. Das beide so stabil laufen und die hohen Userzahlen aushalten wundert mich selbst. Naja, leider finde ich keine brauchbaren Infos via google. Evtl weil mir die Thematik nicht wirklich geläufig ist. Gut Fehlerbeschreibung hab ich doch geliefert, den gesamten Log und was ich machen mag (startx) und was passiert bzw. nicht passiert.

Wenn man den nutzen der Anwendung betrachtet wäre ein Windows Server viel zu überdimensioniert. Außerdem stehen mir pro VM max. 1vCore und 2GB vRAM zu verfügung. EDIT: ich will echt nicht unhöflich klingen, aber ich habe nie danach gefragt welche emulation sinnvoll ist und welche nicht. Des Weiteren sind das doch alles meine Probleme ob ich eine GUI brauche die an diesem Punkt evtl. unnötig ist. Selbst wenn ich auf dem WebServer ein GUI will. Selbst wenn ich auf nem FTP Server ne GUI will was nochmals unnötiger wäre als bei dem Webserver. Ich habe lediglich Hilfe gesucht wie ich diese GUI und dann eine Windows Emulation zum laufen kriege. Nicht nach Performance &/oder Security-ratschlägen.

Was redest du? Wie gesagt habe ich mehere vServer. Einer davon ist ein Debian7 auf dem eine GUI laufen soll. Keine meiner Webserver hat eine GUI. Windows vServer brauchen viel zu viele Ressourcen für ein derartiges kleines Tool. Lieber eine GUI auf einem Unix. Du weißt nichtmal um welche Art Programm es sich handelt, hinterlässt aber nichts weiter als Postfarms. (mMn).

Stop SRY für die Missverständnisse. Also nein. Ich habe momentan 5 vServer (2 Webserver, 2 FTP Server und einen TestServer) die 2Apache und 2 FTPs laufen wie sie sollen. Auf dem TestServer soll eine nun GUI nachinstalliert werden, da ich dort ein ganz kleines simples .net Programm in c# geschrieben via WINE testen will.

Die VM ist folgende: OVH SSD Series Puh, ich bin ein Unix laie, ich war froh den FTP und Webserver zum laufen zu bringen... Ich hab damals in der Schule mal KDE mit Desktop Enviroment installieren können / müssen. Das wars aber auch.... bis der Apache2 und FTP liefen hab ich die VPS 5x platt machen müssen. Zudem ich mir dazu jetzt eine ausführliche und Idiotensichere Anleitung geschrieben habe

Ja also erstmal brauche ich ja eine Desktop Umgebung. Gnome habe ich installiert und diese will ich ja nun mit startx starten. Leider kommt außer der Fehlermeldung und dem Log nichts...

Und wenn proftdp da alles reingeloggt hat, wundert mich nichts, weshalb die Festplatte fast vollgelaufen ist. Habe jetzt das Logging (was sowieso nur zu Diagnosezwecken beim einrichten Sinnvoll wäre) in proftpd komplett ausgeschalten. Ist das Plausible das die Datei so riesig wird wegen den zusätzlichen Logeinträgen die proftpd in die wtmp schreibt? Also wenn ich last eingebe kommt das: Bild entfernt. CW Ich denk das erklärt das... ftpuser hat nur readonly access. Es sind viele kleine Daten alle unter 500kb auf dem FTP Server. Aber diese werden halt sehr sehr sehr sehr oft angefragt.

Also da der Befehl jetzt schon 2 Minuten arbeitet komme ich definitiv über 420 Zeilen. Was genau ist " last | wc -l " EDIT: Also es wird garnichts angezeigt. Bei einem neuerem System werden direkt 25 ausgegeben. Bei dem betroffenem System rödelt er und zeigt auch nach 5 Minuten noch nix an.

Ich hatte in meiner proftpd.conf folgendes aktiv: WtmpLog on Ich denke das hat die wtmp so zugemüllt. Die Proftpd logs waren ja auch recht groß. Auf dem VPS läuft nur ein Webserver und ein FTP Server. Beide sind nur von einer IP aus erreichbar. Das heißt Fremdzugriffe sind ausgeschlossen.

Hallo, ich weiß einfach nicht wie ich meine google suche gestalten soll. Und zwar möchte ich in meinem DNS Server folgendes verwirklichen. Ich habe einen Webserver der auf Port 3000 lauscht. test-web-server:3000 diesen möchte ich z.B via test.local erreichen Wie gehe ich da vor? Habe einen CNAME bei forward Lookups eingerichtet und meinen dns cache geflushed aber wird immer als offline angezeigt.

Hallo Leute, ich bin verzweifelt auf der suche nach einem (bevorzugt Ultrabook) Notebook, welches: 1. Convertible fähig 2. einen HDMI-Ausgang bietet der 2560x1440 Pixel schafft 3. min. 256GB SSD, gerne auch mehr 4. guter Prozessor usw. 5. Preis: egal 1, 3 und 4 sind ja leicht zu finden / zu vergleichen. Leider finde ich nur Ultrabooks mit einer nativen Auflösung von WQHD und keinerlei Angaben an die Auflösung der HDMI Ausgänge. Warum ich 2560x1440 brauche? Weil ich einen 27" Bildschirm benutze der momentan an einer HP Workstation (ca. 5kg schwer) hängt benutze und er eben auf 2560x1440 Pixel läuft und ich mit Upgrade auf ein neues Notebook nicht auf 1920x1080 Pixel "runter" will.
