Hallo Leute,

Hab hier ein Problem und zwar will ich openSuse via Virtual Box installieren. Ich hab eine 64 Bit Version von openSuse, wenn ich des dann installieren will kommt die Meldung das ich ein 32 Bit System habe und des nicht funktioniert. Aber wie kann ich Virtual Box so einstellen das ich eine 64 Bit Maschine habe?

bei vielen virtualisierungslösungen kannst du 64-bit systeme nicht virtualisieren, wenn der host ein 32-bit system ist. zusätzlich solltest du überprüfen, ob dein prozesser intel-vt oder amd-v unterstützt. ist es ein intel prozessor musst du das vt-feature eventuell sogar noch im bios aktivieren

Ich kenn das auch nur so, dass die Prozessoren Virtual Threading im Bios aktiviert haben müssen, damit die CPU-Einheit von der VM vom Host-PC getrennt ist. Sonst wird der PC langsam, wenn auf der VM viel passiert.

Ich kannte es ohnehin noch nicht, dass ein 32-Bit Host-PC 64-Bit VM's laufen lassen kann. Aber ist ja immer gut zu wissen
