Hi,

möchte gern wissen für was ein Branch Router ist und die Funktion?

Welchem Layer ein managed switch von Aerohive SR2024P zuzuordnen ist? Layer3?

Mr. Google verwirrrte mich und ich entschloss hier mal nachzufragen.

Zweigstellen Router werden, so kenne ich das, über MPLS mit der Zentrale verbunden.

In der technischen Beschreibung vom Switch steht drin, was seine Funktionen sind. Spätestens wenn die Begriffe wie NAT, Routing, VPN auftreten, dann sollte es langsam klar werden, dass es sich nicht mehr um L2 zu tun hat.
