Probleme beim Installieren von Xmms, etc.

Hi, ich habe ein paar kleine Probleme beim installieren von

xmms 1.2.7 und xchat 2.0.0... Ich habe erstmal gerade die glib1.3.15

u. die glib2.2.1 installiert, da diese jeweils benötigt werden. Dann habe ich export GLIB_CONFIG=/usr/local/bin/glib-config eingegeben um diese Systemweit einzusetzen... Nun bekomme ich aber immer noch beim ./configure von xchat u. xmms die meldung glib nicht vorhanden: Hier ist der Inhalt der missing von xmms:

Hiho..

unter was für einem system arbeitest du denn??

unter Debian würde ich mal "apt-get install -f" ausführen, um alle dependencies zu überprüfen und fehlende zu installieren...

Steht die glib in deinen Suchpfaden??

kannst du bei "./condifgure" noch als Option libPfade eingeben??

Oder beim kompilieren libs einbinden??

Hast Du auch die Enwicklungspakete für glib/gtk installiert? Das configure Skript sollte eigentlich eine Option haben, um die Pfade für glib/gtk zu setzen (irgendwas in der Art "--with-gtk=/.../"). Ansonsten kannst Du mal ins "config.log" nach der Fehlermeldung suchen, die das configure-Skript zum Abbruch bewogen hat.
