Hallo zusammen,

ich habe ein riesiges Problem mit dem Norton Anti-Virus von Symantec. Seit dem sich das letzte automatische Update installiert hat kann man das System nicht mehr gebrauchen.

Ich habe einen Windows 2000 SP4 Rechner und jegliches Öffnen von Dateien dauert eine halbe Ewigkeit.

Hat jemand eine Lösung für dieses Problem?

Nein, den Thread habe ich auch schon gelesen. Vorangebracht hat er mich allerdings nicht ein Stück, da ich die angegebene Zeichenfolge in meiner Registry gar nicht habe.

ES muss doch einen anderen Grund haben, dass der Virenscanner soviel Performace frießt.

wenn du in den ausführlichen Fehlerfaqs auf Symantec.com keine Lösung findest kann ich den Symantec Support nur empfehlen, schnell und sehr kompetent, die werden sich wohl am ehesten mit ihrem Programm auskennen und imho ist dein geschilderter Fall kein Einzelfall.
