Hallo,

also ich habe den Barricade Router seither und nun durch das 1&1 DSL die Fritz.Box erhalten. Nun weiß ich nicht so recht welchen Router ich nehmen soll? Kennt jemand beide Geräte und hat mehr Ahnung davon? Oder kann ich auch beider verwenden? Bringt mir das was in punkto Sicherheit?

Wenn du VoIP nutzen willst nehm die AVM, ansonsten würde ich den Barricade bevorzugen. Bei dem SMC hast du mehr Einstellmöglichkeiten. Kenne zwar nicht genau dein Gerät, jedoch aber einige SMC Modelle und die waren eigentlich nicht schlecht. Für den einfachen Hausgebrauch reicht aber auch die Fritz.Box vollkommen aus. Aber immer auf aktuelle Firmware achten. AVM baut ständig neue Features ein.

In der c't ist ein Vergleichstest.
