hallo,

ich möchte mir einen neuen pc kaufen und meine alte Festplatte noch mitbenutzen. Momentan ist sie in einem externen Gehäuse, und meine Frage ist, ob die Festplatte extern auf usb2 genau so schnell läuft wie intern.

wie viel schneller ist die intern? Macht das viel aus? Wie hoch ist die datenübertragung intern und extern?

Je nachdem welche Festplatte das ist (Generation, UDMA-Modus) macht die intern 40-60 MB/s Dauerübertragungsrate und 90-120 MB/s Burst-Speed (Lesen aus dem Zwischenspeicher), USB-Lösungen haben so gut wie nie höhere Übertragungsraten als 33 MB/s (sowohl Dauerübertragungsrate als auch Burst-Speed).

also wenn du platz hast, dann bau sie rein. würd ich jetz mal so sagen.

falls du trotzdem eine externe brauchst, würde ich mir ne 2,5 Zoll kaufen. is echt praktisch
